Balakot surgical strike completes a year today and the country proudly remembers and salutes the valor of Indian Air Force. An year back, the Indian Air force had taken revenge for the martyrdom of our CRPF jawans today within 12 days of Pulwama attack by destroying the terrorist camps of Jaish-e-Mohammed which was flourishing in Balakot.

The saga of might by IAF that the country will proudly remember for years to come

As the air strike completes one year, the country proudly celebrates this saga of might that will be remembered for years. On 14 February 2019, 40 CRPF soldiers were martyred in a major suicide attack in Pulwama on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway. After the cowardly attack, everyone in India was enraged to an extent where only taking vengeance looked reassuring. Therefore, the Central Government took a step forward and gave full freedom to the defence forces to take any action against the enemy.

In the early morning hours of 26th Feb 2019, IAF with 12 Mirage 2000 fighter jets of Western Air Command carried out major aerial strikes across LoC destructing JeM terror camps and killing over 200-300 terrorists at Balakot, which is around 190 km away from Islamabad and is infamous for having several terror training camps of Jaish-e-Mohammed. Within 12 days of Pulwama attack, the brave Indian Air Force destroyed the terrorist camps of Jaish-e-Mohammed that were flourishing in Balakot and took revenge for the martyrdom of its soldiers.

Pakistan-sponsored terrorism under control and terrorists still fearful ever since IAF wiped out their terror base in Balakot

Today, it is a year later that terrorists still panic to be in camps and bunkers. As a result of the surgical strike, terror activities have become minimal decreased. Although this air strike happened in Balakot, its impact has been far-reaching.

Quite clearly, Pakistan does not want another attack like Balakot. At least not quite so soon after the Balakot attack by India. It has been noted that Pakistan has not carried out any attack since then. The terror sponsoring country, Pakistan has been exposed in the whole world after the Pulwama attack. Pakistan has been on the back foot ever since the Indian Air Force wiped out the terror base in Balakot. Wing Commander Abhinandan's homecoming confirmed the success of the Balakot air strike.

The Balakot strike by India not only destroyed the terror camps but also the morale of Paksitan. Many of the statements by Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan confirm that the country is on the backfoot. Recently in an interview to a foreign media, he admitted that as long as India has PM Modi as its Prime Minister, Pakistan cannot do anything in or about Kashmir.
