Alia Bhatt starrer, ‘Sadak 2’ has been outrightly rejected by the audience across the country in mere three days of its release becoming the lowest-rated film on IMDb ever. The Mahesh Bhatt directorial film with a user rating of just 1.0 IMDb has received 35 thousand votes breaking all previous records in the history of cinema along with massive trolling from the netizens who have criticized the makers for not just a lifeless storyline but also the songs amid debates over nepotism.

In the wake of a nationwide call for justice for the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Bollywood movies amid the nepotism debate are facing upright rejection from the audience all over the country. Although, ‘Sadak 2’ was destined to be released on OTT platform only due to coronavirus pandemic restrictions but Mahesh Bhatt’s dream project with daughter Alia Bhatt couldn’t have met any worse fate upon its release on 28th Aug with a score as low as 1.0 IMDb. The movie also stars Aditya Roy Kapoor opposite Alia, along with Sanjay Dutt.

As per the netizens, the movie has been reportedly watched by only 2900 people so far and has also broken all previous records to become the lowest-rated film in all times after receiving over 35 thousand votes. The score of ‘1’ is the lowest a person can rate a film on the website while the highest is 10. A few days back, even the trailer of ‘Sadak 2’ garnered immense negative votes and broke all records to have received nearly 12 million dislikes on YouTube. Neither the songs nor the storyline was shown any support or appreciation from the audience who are currently demanding justice for Sushant Singh Rajput and would settle for nothing but that.

‘Dil Bechara’ Vs. latest releases like ‘Sadak 2’ and ‘Khaali Peeli’
Simultaneously, the otherwise Bollywood ardent fans have decided to now slam “Khaali Peeli” as well in this online protest. As soon as the movie’s trailer released last week, it crossed over 1.7 million dislikes in a short span of time with only negatives remarks from viewers.

However, late actor Sushant Singh Rajput starred ‘Dil Bechara’ trailer, also his last project, upon its release, not only achieved an IMDb brilliant score of 8.9 but it also became the most liked trailer ever on YouTube. Sushant’s fans paid him tribute showering immense love on his movie as well which went on to do a far better business than movies releasing afterward such as ‘Sadak 2’ and ‘Khaali Peeli’.

Sushant’s fans have been demanding a closure to the case from the day he was mysteriously found dead in his apartment and with CBI taking over the case, their anger hasn’t gone down but call for justice as much as to boycott Bollywood movies has only gone to another level.
