"The Kerala Story “ teaser out, narrates the tale of 32000 Kerala women who joined ISIS

Filmmaker Vipul Amrutlal Shah , a well known producer of Indian Film Industry is bringing another story based on some unfortunate real life incidents to the silver screen. "The Kerala Story", is his new project which narrates the story of 32,000 women, who went missing in Kerala, were converted to Islam and was sold as ISIS slaves.
The 1.5 minute long teaser was unveiled on 3 November and it unearth the events behind 32,000 women going missing in the Indian southern state of Kerala. Sudipto Sen is directing the movie. Movie will hit the theatres next year.
The short yet impactful teaser tells the story of one such victims, Sheetal Unnikrishnan played by Adah Sharma who wanted to be a nurse but was abducted from her home, converted to Islam and is currently being held as an ISIS terrorist in prison in Afghanistan. In an earlier press statement, Vipul Amrutlal Shah while talking about the movie had shared,' I was in tears in the first narration meeting itself’.
According to a recent investigation, since 2009, nearly 32000 girls from the Hindu and Christian communities in Kerala and Mangalore have converted to Islam, the majority of them end up in Syria , Afghanistan and other regions with a high concentration of ISIS and Haqqani influence..
