According to the Henley Passport Index, Pakistani passport has been ranked as the World's fourth worst in the list followed only by Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan. It stands at 109 on the index and grants free access to 32 countries only. Even Yemen has surpassed Pakistan in the list.
Japanese passport tops the list which grants free access to 193 countries, followed by Singapore and South Korea.
While Indian passport stands at 87 in the list with free access to 60 countries and China at 69, with free access to 80 countries.
United Kingdom could get 6 th spot in the list followed by United States at 7, while Australia and Canada are both sharing 8th spot in the list. Afghanistan's passport is the least useful, granting access to only 27 countries.
It pertains to mention here that, Henley & Partners firm’s “Henley Passport Index” has been regularly monitoring the world's most travel-friendly passports since 2006.
The ranking is carried out after analysing and grading different travel documents from all the countries. What is primarily being judged is the international mobility that the passport holders enjoy.
