Things got out of control for Afghanistan cricket team fans when they lost to Pakistan in the Asai Cup Match on Wednesday in Sharjah. Pakistani fans got into heated arguments with Afghanistan fans in the stadium, after which Afghan supporters lost their cool and hit back and beat up Pakistani supporters ruthlessly with whatever they could get hold of.

Clashes took an ugly turn when supporters of both the teams hit each other with chairs. In a video, a man can be seen hitting another person wearing a Pakistani jersey with a chair. Afghan fans hit Pakistani fans at the stadium after their team was defeated in the Asia Cup. Blows were also exchanged outside the stadium between the unnerved fans of both the teams .

Raising slogans like “Afghanistan Zindabad,” the fans also started vandalizing the Sharjah cricket Stadium.

Pakistani bowler Shoaib Akhtar condemned the Afghan fans. Tagging the Afghanistan cricket board chief, Shafiq Stanikzai, he said that the “game is supposed to be played and taken in the right spirit”.

Whereas Shafiq Stanikzai, held the Pakistani's accountable for their stupidity of extreme level and demanded ban on Asif Ali who had almost hit Afghan bowler after losing his wicket.

Pakistan's Asif Ali and Afghanistan's Fareed Ahmad were involved in a heated altercation when Fareed dismissed Asif just after being hit for a six in the 19th over. Fareed celebrated high spiritedly right in front of Asif, who in return pushed the bowler back and when countered again by the bowler, he almost hit him with the bat before the other Afghanistan fielders came and took the Pakistani cricketer away. However in the last over, Naseem Shah of Pakistan smashed two back-to-back sixes to seal the game for Pakistan.
