Bharat Jodo Yatra In Jammu rahul Gandhi

Senior Congress leader and Member of Parliament Rahul Gandhi on Monday during his last leg of Bharat Jodo Yatra in Jammu and Kashmir said that Congress will use it’s full might for the restoration of Jammu and Kashmir’s Statehood as this is their biggest issue.

“Here in J&K, statehood is your biggest issue. Nothing is bigger than it. Your right has been snatched,” said Gandhi. “The Congress will fully support you and your statehood (demand). To reinstate statehood, the Congress will use our entire might.”

Rahul Gandhi said that J&K these days is being run by outsiders. Earlier, it was run by local people, and the administration doesn’t listen to the locals voice, he said during a short address in Jammu’s Satwari Chowk.

Rahul also highlighted Kashmir Hindus plight, he alleged that are facing injustice at the hands of government.

A delegation of Kashmiri Pandits met me. They said when their delegation met Lt Governor Manoj Sinha, he told them that they should not beg. Kashmiri Pandits are not begging but demanding their rights. The Lt Governor should apologise to them for his remarks, he said.
