Pakistani girl falls in love with Indian guy, makes her way to India via Nepal border, gets arrested in Bengaluru
A matter has come to the fore from Bengaluru wherein a 19 year old Pakistani girl has been arrested, who forged her identity to stay in the city illegally.
The arrested girl has been identified as Iqra Jeevani, a resident of Pakistan’s Sindh province, who married 25 year old security guard Mulayam Singh Yadav from Uttar Pradesh, whom she met through an online app months ago and entered India through the Porous India- Nepal border, said Police.
After the arrest, the girl was handed over to Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO). She was later sent to a state home for women.
Mulayam Singh Yadav befriended Iqra through an online app and fell in love with her and the duo decided to get married. Few months later, he called her to Nepal border where they both got married and crossed into India to reach Birgunj in Bihar and from there reached Patna.
Later, both came to Bengaluru and stayed in a rented house in Junnasandra where Mulayam started working as a security guard since September 2022.
Mulayam Singh Yadav even secured an Aadhar card for Iqra after changing her name to Rava Yadav and applied for an Indian passport.
Their scam came into light when central agencies came across Iqra who was trying to contact her family in Pakistan. Central agencies notified state intelligence. The police verified the details, searched the house and arrested the couple.
Iqra later remanded to state home for women and further investigation is on. Police are verifying Iqra’s background to check whether she is part of an espionage activity. Mulayam Singh Yadav has also been arrested for providing Iqra shelter.
