Another LeT terrorist commander and recruiter Akram Khan aka Ghazi shot dead by unknown gunmen in Pakistan

 

Another terrorist commander of proscribed group Lashkar-e-Taiba and a key recruiter for exporting terrorists into Jammu and Kashmir, Akram Khan aka Ghazi has been reportedly shot dead in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

 

Ghazi was shot dead by bike borne assailants in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bajaur district. As per reports, Ghazi’s killing is being downplayed by Pakistani establishment who have invested heavily to export terror into J&K.

 

Ghazi was one of the top terrorist recruiters for LeT and was accountable for pushing terrorists into Jammu and Kashmir for fueling terrorism. His killing is the third assassination of a top Lashkar operative in recent days and the sixth killing of a top commander of a terror outfit operating from across the border this year.

 

This comes a week after Khwaja Shahid, one of the terrorists behind Sunjwan attack in J&K was found beheaded in PoJK. Prior to that in September, LeT top terrorist Riyaz Ahmad was gunned down in Rawalkot area of PoJK by unknown gunmen.
