Invitation cards are being sent for the consecration ceremony of the Shri Ram Lalla Mandir in Ayodhya, scheduled for January 22, 2024.
Invitation cards are being sent to 6000 dignitaries, including priests, donors, and politicians, for the consecration ceremony of the Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The temple's foundation was laid by PM Modi in 2020.
In the run-up to the consecration ceremony of the Ram temple, events will begin this month while the mega functions will start from Makar Sankranti on January 14, 15 next year and continue till the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will preside over the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat also in attendance. The Uttar Pradesh government’s Department of tourism and Culture is organising the event with the help of the tourism and cultural council in each district.
A saint told news agency PTI that he had received the very first letter sent by the Trust. He added that he got the letter via post and is overjoyed to be the first person with the invitation letter.
Consecration ceremony
The three-hour program will commence at 11 a.m. and continue until 2 p.m, with others allowed to leave only after PM departs the venue, said trust officials.
Ram Lalla will be enthroned in the sanctum-sanctorum of Ram Mandir on a golden throne on January 22. After the PM leaves, guests will be allowed to pay obeisance to Ram Lalla, and the temple will open for devotees the following day.
