Second terrorist has been gunned by the security forces in encounter which broke out on Tuesday evening in Narla area of J&K’s Rajouri district, ADGP Jammu Mukesh Singh informed.

 

Earlier, on terrorist was killed while one Army Rifleman lost his life on Tuesday evening and three other security personnel including a Police SPO got injured in the firefight with terrorists. Security had been heightened and search operation was on to hunt down the second terrorist.

 

A six year old dog (female labrador) also laid down her life while protecting her handler during the encounter.

 

 

Meanwhile, to pay tribute to the martyred soldier who lost his life during the encounter, wreath laying ceremony of the martyred army jawan Rifleman Ravi Kumar was performed in Rajouri on Wednesday.
