The Battle of Rezang La was fought on November 18, 1962, in the Ladakh during the Indo-China war. Located at an altitude of over 16,000 feet, the battle saw 120 soldiers from the 13 Kumaon Regiment, led by Major Shaitan Singh, defend their post against thousands of Chinese troops. Despite being heavily outnumbered and facing extreme weather conditions, Major Singh and his men displayed extraordinary bravery, with most fighting to their last breath. For his leadership and courage, Major Shaitan Singh was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra, India’s highest military honor.

Sharing the first poster of the film on Instagram, Farhan gave a glimpse of the intensity the film promises. The poster depicts a lone soldier, standing in the harsh, snow-covered terrain of Ladakh, symbolising the resilience and valour of Major Shaitan Singh and his troops.

In the caption, he expressed his gratitude to the Indian Army. "What they accomplished will never be forgotten. It is an absolute privilege to bring you the story of Maj Shaitan Singh Bhati PVC and the soldiers of Charlie company, 13 Kumaon regiment. Famously known as the Battle of Rezang La, fought on the 18th of November 1962 during the Indo-China war, it is a story of remarkable courage, heroism and selflessness shown by our men in uniform against all odds," he wrote."We are grateful to the Indian Army for their support in bringing this incredible tale of valour to the screen.
