The International Cricket Council (ICC) has revealed a massive USD 6.9 million prize pool for the 2025 Champions Trophy, making it 53% higher than the last edition in 2017. The winning team will take home USD 2.24 million, while all eight participating teams are guaranteed at least USD 125,000 each.

The 2025 ICC Champions Trophy will be hosted in Pakistan, but due to security reasons, India’s matches will be played in Dubai. The tournament is set to begin on February 19, 2025, with the final scheduled for March 9, 2025.

The competition features eight teams, divided into two groups: Group A- consists of India, Pakistan, New Zealand, and Bangladesh, while Group B- includes Australia, England, South Africa, and Afghanistan.

India will play all its group-stage matches in Dubai, starting with Bangladesh on February 20, followed by the much-anticipated India vs Pakistan clash on February 23, and concluding the group stage against New Zealand on March 2. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, leading to the grand final on March 9.
