Prime Minister Narendra Modi and U.S. President Donald Trump have once again sent a strong warning to Pakistan, making it clear that terrorism will not be tolerated. In their joint statement after a crucial meeting in Washington, both leaders vowed to eliminate terrorist hideouts across the world and take strict action against terror groups like Al-Qaida, ISIS, Jaish-e-Mohammad, and Lashkar-e-Tayyiba.
The U.S. has also approved the extradition of Tahawwur Rana to India. Rana, an accused conspirator in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, is set to face trial in India for his role in the attacks.
Modi and Trump issued a stern message to Pakistan, directly asking it to punish those responsible for 2018 Mumbai attack and 2016 Pathankot attacks. They also made it clear that Pakistan must stop allowing terrorists to use its land for attacks on other countries.
Additionally, both countries agreed to work together to prevent dangerous weapons from reaching terrorists and rogue groups.
