The Jammu and Kashmir administration, led by LG Manoj Sinha, has removed three government employees from their jobs for being involved in terror-related activities. Those dismissed include police constable Firdous Ahmad Bhat, teacher Mohammad Ashraf Bhat, and forest department orderly Nisar Ahmad Khan. All three are currently in jail facing different cases.
The government took this action under Article 311(2)(c) of the Constitution, which allows dismissal without an inquiry in the interest of national security. Officials said the decision was based on solid intelligence and ongoing investigations.
This move is part of the administration’s strict crackdown on people in government jobs suspected of having links with terror groups. Over the past few years, several employees have been sacked under similar charges as authorities continue efforts to remove any threat to national security. The J&K administration has once again made it clear that there will be zero tolerance for terrorism and any kind of support to it.
