In Rajasthan’s Sri Ganganagar district, a 32-year-old Pakistani woman named Humaira crossed the border into India to escape domestic violence. However, the Border Security Force (BSF) caught her and sent her back to Pakistan on Tuesday afternoon.

The incident took place at the Binjor border post near Anupgarh. Around 2:30 PM, Humaira was handed over to the Pakistani Rangers by the BSF. According to officials, she had been facing constant abuse from her family and decided to flee in search of a better life.

Humaira reportedly believed that women in India are treated with respect and have the right to live with dignity. This hope drove her to cross the border. However, BSF personnel spotted her and took her into custody for questioning before returning her to Pakistan.

The BSF handled the situation following proper procedures, ensuring her safe return across the border.
